We determined to conquer the trails around Mt. Tatun from another direction after a previous failed attempt. We finally managed to do that but during which, the weather gave us a hard time. As a collateral damage, my new shoes were almost ruined by rain and mud. It's only the second time that I wore those shoes, a pair of comfortable hiking shoes from Merrel.
Spider web decorated with globues.
The following week, we took another route, starting from Shbafen Trail Entrance to Mt. Jhongjheng and ended in Jhuzihu. Mt. Jhongjhen is a much lower mountain then Mt. Tatun and it attracts more visitors because of the same reason. Comparing to the previous week, it was a more casual walk but still full of fun, which was due to the excitement of visiting a new place, I suppose.
A segment of trail with very straight stairs. I suppose it is rare. Tortuous ones are more common.
