Si-Shou Shan Public Forest, or Si-Shou Shan Hiking Trail, is an independent trail system located in the east side of Taipei City. Si-Shou, which means "four beasts" in Chinese, consists of four mountains:
Tiger, Lion,
Elephant and
Leopard -- all of which are so named because of their shapes. From the six large stones standing on top of the Elephant Mountain, photographers, either professional or amateur, can get the best view of
Taipei 101.
