Plum Flower Theater is part of the Central Motion Picture Corporation, the oldest and largest film production company in Taiwan. This is probably why a cinema with a modest timetable and number of patrons still manages to survive at a downtown location of Taipei and amongst the fierce competition from other modern cinemas. The convenience of its location is truly unbeatable, especially when you work at a nearby office building like Taipei Metro The Mall. You can go and see an one-and-half-hour movie during the lunch break. But if it's a movie with a runtime like The Da Vinci Code, you may need two consecutive lunch breaks.
