There are many pigeons living with us in the campus. They will walk around us when we have lunch in the courtyard outside the university center. Sometimes a courageous (or simply very hungry) one would jump on to a table, asking for food. Many of them are so well-fed that I think they are becoming chickens that don't have to fly. However, campus is not entirely a risk-free place for them. We saw an eagle feasting on its prey on the lawn in front of the university center. It's hard to tell whether the prey is a pigeon or not, but the eagle may have noticed the same thing that I have noticed.
