After spending all day on X'mas flying, I finally returned to Taipei. I was greeted by my family at the airport, which reminded me the day they sent me away 18 months ago: we walked on the same passageways, but this time we left the building together.
There was a new member in the family. He was 332 days or 47 weeks and 3 days old when we met for the first time at the airport. His mother introduced me as his uncle, but he stared at me with his small round eyes as if he was trying to match my face with the limited number of familiar faces stored in his brain, and when failed, he tried very hard to register my face into his brain.
