Today is my official graduation day from the Master of Software Engineering program at Carnegie Mellon University. I was reminded by Enrollment Services in regards to this fact, and from their web site, I was able to see a prototype of my diploma, with my name and graduation date on it. Looking at the prototype, I couldn't help wondering if it's real--of course the prototype is not real, but it is the fact that I will receive a real one that made me wonder.
