The first day of December, a small renovation project was kicked off for the 30+ years old bedroom. The carpenter we hired is the father of my second sister's best friend from junior high school. He is all professional and we are quite satisfied with his work.

The collage of photos on the right captured the last images of the furniture inside the old bedroom right before it was taken apart. The bed, closet and drawers were all removed piece by piece. The carpenter even praised the original woodwork because the better its quality the harder for him to take it apart.

We are now in the process of decorating the renovated bedroom, which has nothing but emptiness -- just like a blank canvas for us to paint. It is going to be a fun project for year 2011.
