Intelligent Workplace, where we went for the third filed trip of the ACC program, is like a "living organism": it can be constantly updated to the most advanced features; its interior systems are modular, stackable and reconfigurable; it's sun-loving; and it's environmental friendly. Even though the place is located on the top floor of Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall, I felt entirely comfortable when we visited it on a hot, sunny day. The most interesting feature, however, is the long balcony surrounding the place. Walking on top of it, you can see through the floor. In other words, it's like walking in the air. Don't try it, if you are acrophobic.
