Half of the ACC program classmates got together at Union Grill after struggling through most of the semester. We heard a news from one of our Japanese classmates, whose wife was giving birth to their child at the same moment when we were just seated and ready to order drinks. The timing could not be better: I was in a foreign country, sitting in the restaurant that I had never patronized, but seeing all the familiar faces, hearing English that still needed more work, and learning yet another baby news, wasn't that the richness of life?
