If playing badminton was my least expectation, then participating in an intramural team badminton tournament was something really beyond my imagination.

Soon after this semester started, one of my classmates told me this interesting idea of joining the intramural activity. We hoped to get some fun out of it. Although we were supposed to play four game within our division, we ended up playing only two games because our opponents did not show up. It was actually the same team that we were supposed to play with. If they did not show up in the first time, it's hardly they would show up in the section time.

Winning two games in the division was enough for us to go into the playoff, in which we played another two games to claim the championship. The photo was taken by one of two cheerleaders who came to see the final. Our opponents actually played with us in one of our two division games. They were kind enough to agree on a postponement of the final because of a conflicting schedule.

Did we have fun? We certainly did, even though we played less games than we had hoped for. After all, who would complain with a championship in hand?
