Our empty living room was not so empty in the past three months. Craig's friend, a PhD student from Taiwan, came here to do research for a join research project. He slept on the floor with a sleep bag; he used his notebook on a small wooden table; and his night was lighted up by two small lamps. That was certainly not the best living quality one would expect, but the experience was nonetheless memorable. We cooked and ate together; we went grocery shopping together; and we even played the antique Age of Empires: Thre Rise of Rome together.
