I am not really a fan of The Eagles, but their classic hits are so irresistible that I acquired a CD of the band recently, Eagles Hell Freezes Over. During my senior college years, a roommate of mine got one of the "greatest hits" CD and we once played it over and over again for possibly several days. Some of the songs in this new edition seem to be taken from a live recording. Before the start of the fifth track, Tequila Sunrise, one of the band members (not sure which one) says "For the record, we never broke up. We just take a fourteen-year vocation." How touching it must be for their fans.
My two favorite songs are Hotel California and I can't tell you why. Why? I can't tell you why.
