Today, Taiwan celebrates the beginning of September with a typhoon leave for all citizens on the island. Typhoon Talim forces the third typhoon leave in Taiwan this year, following Haitang and Matsa. Resembling hurricanes that lashes southern U.S., two of the three typhoons that struck Taiwan were classified as "severe". These two tropical storms have made a new record in Taiwan's weather history. It's the first time that there are two severe typhoons that actually made landfall in Taiwan within the same year.
