Thank Goodness It's Friday! No, actually, it's Tuesday, the third day after Chinese New Year, that we had a reunion to meet a senior high school classmate who just came back from the United States. In fact, it's two of them we were seeing. Another classmate, whose nickname is Rabi and who we have lost contact for a long time, works at a TGI Friday's, where we chose to hold the reunion. The discovery of this long lost classmate was serendipitous: One classmate, whose nickname is Star, brought a friend of his to the same restaurant to eat ice cream and somehow he managed to recognize Rabi. Star told me that her hair covered almost half of her face, so he didn't recognize her from her face, but from the unique way she walked -- still the same way she walked in high school.
