Erin and Craig had an engagement luncheon at Lin Garden Restaurant at Taichung. I was among the guests witnessing the moment when Erin's father accompanied her on the aisle and gave her hand to Craig.
Originally, I intended to attend the wedding luncheon one week later at Tainan County, but Craig told me Erin had planned a very special engagement that I would not want to miss. So there I was, and I am happy to report that it was indeed a well-planned engagement. I enjoyed every bit of it.
In fact, a rather odd reason why I enjoyed the engagement was that the bride and the groom are the only two people I know. It turned out to be a good thing, because I felt no obligation to pay attention to other people--the bride and the groom had my full attention.
