The
Taiwanese Scholar Society (TSS) hosted a dinner party for Chinese New Year's Eve, although it's not on the "real" Chinese New Year's Eve. They had to move the party one day earlier so an overbooked local restaurant could prepare traditional Chinese dishes for us. About 80 people occupied the second partition of
Rangos Hall, where I had the Etiquette Lunch during
Graduate Student Orientation. The etiquette of a Chinese New Year's Eve dinner is simple: eat, converse, and raffle.
