I didn't quite follow it when I saw the first episode of the widely acclaimed BBC comedy -- The Office, probably because of the British accent or the mockumentray style. However, for anyone who has ever worked nine to five, the TV series makes you feel like home or like office.

One of my favorite quotes:

David Brent: Avoid employing unlucky people - throw half of the pile of CVs in the bin without reading them.

A trivial that links the show to Simply Red:

David Brent sang a failed cover version of "If You Don't Know Me By Now", a classic hit of Simply Red.

About Slough:

The show is set in Slough, a place my former colleague described as "worth a two-hour visit" and "think for two days before doing so". None of the show was filmed in Slough, though, only the opening sequence, which shows the central bus station. There is a poem Slough by Sir John Betjeman, from which I quote the first stanza:
Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!

there're not too many ppl in office, therefore i decided to go out and take a walk during the lunch break at the town Center which is not too far from office.

i think i won't do that again,.. working in office is definately w/ more fun.

BBC also has this interesting TV series called "Making Slough Happy". Perhaps you would want to try out some of their tips.
One of the experts, Richard Stevens, says: "Going round a graveyard and reminding yourself that life is short can really boost your appreciation that it's wonderful just to be alive!"
